Spelling is not important in this age of texting so get with it class. I can't believe mine are the last 2 posts here. Like most of us, I am on Facebook and Myspace but use F-Book. Play Guitar alot so no time for those games. Single after 25 years. Sorry I missed so much in HS working toward my goals. Should have dated all the time and played more but now I have learned to. Sorry about all of the deaths and Keith's son. If you ride drop me a note that includes all of those cute girls I should have dated. Will put some more pics up soon on the site so you can judge my aging skill. The secret of youth is in your heart. I will be at the next reunion, Rhonda, the Principal, promised me. I am at the Melt on Fridays so stop bye and say hello.

I have very sad news that my little sister passed away on October 30th, 2010. It was inexpected but she was engulfed in a battle for years that she lost. She will be missed terribly. Please keep her in your prayers! I would just ask to never let a day go by that you don't tell your family, friends and people in your life that you love them. God Bless!

Hi ole friends,

It's ben a while since I've posted anything but I just ran across the site and wanted to drop everyone a line and say hello. The radio stations are doinf awesome and we're looking to bring another signal into San Angelo so that's exciting. If any of you ever come through San Angelo please give me a call even if it's just to say hello. My boys Austin, Braden and Cason are doing great and have been at camp for almost a month so I'm excited to have them back home this Saturday. Austin's driving now so that;s scary but life moves on. I miss seeing you guys and gals and hopefully we can get together again real soon. Mike Higgins is my next door neighbot so I see him often but I'd love to get together more often but I understand like me we're all so busy. Don't hesitate to call if can. I hope life is treating all of you well.  Terry Hucks-325-656-1474

I do see Rhonda frequently at the softball fields and her smile is as bright and uplifting as ever.  Trying to get her to put her grand daughter on my team and make her a Baby Blaster with my daughter.  Funny things change but stay the same...spending spring and summers at the ballpark...

Sent Rhonda an email telling her it sure would be fun to set up a gathering in Vegas one weekend.  Give plenty of notice and those that can make it....let's roll the dice!

Hope you are all having a great summer!

I will send a reminder out for everyone to start posting on this web site and keeping in touch.  It is so easy to let it go and not stay in touch.  I see Bobby Drum and Jamie Woodman at the softball field as I watch my grand daughter play.  They both have little ones and I have a 9 year old grand daughter - GO FIGURE!!  Jennifer Williams and I spent Memorial Day at Horseshoe Bay.  Lots of fun!!  I saw Teri Snyder and Lori Jackson at a school meeting today.  We work in the same district.   I am sure that many of you are going through or already have had the painful 50th birthday.  Mine is coming up and I will spend it in Vegas.  I will  pick a date for a summer Lubbock happy hour this summer and email it out.  Let's all work hard to stay in touch!!  Our 35th reunion will be here before we know it.  Have a GREAT summer!!

I just recently have been forced into the computer age via my new nursing responsibilities. Wendy Bonner Brown had emailed me the reunion photo site to my husbands email due to me not having one. Iam just now looking at the photos from the parties nearly 2yrs later. Was unable to attend due to late notice. I was on call and Debra had a full day booked at her salon so we dicussed it and it would have been too difficult on us both to change our work schedules. We said then that we would have to get in touch w/Rhonda Tyler and let her know to send our invitations earlier to the next one because we would have loved to come and see everyone. We then decided to call Wendy,Katina and Charlotte, plan a week-end at S.Padre and have our own mini reunion. Wedid not get to it fast enough, Debra died on Thanks giving day. We decided at her funeral that we were going to make time to see each other. As a matter of fact we are meeting in Fredricksburg next fri. for The Texas Hat Festival our husbands are very excited, they get to go to Luckenbach on Sat. drink beer and get a new hat. Wewill have to fit some shopping in there somewhere.
To catch ya'll up , in May I will be married 32yrs and we have 2 daughters both smart and beautiful as you may have already guessed. They are 31 and 26. We have  Sean a7yr. old grandson and 2 two yr. olds Abigail and Adam, they remind me of Frank and Jessie James.I will be glad when the terrible two's are over. Thank GOD I can just Love em, SPoil em and send em home to their Parents.I HATE to say but both of mt son- in-laws are Big Longhorn fans and have corrupted my daughters and my grand children, but not me ,I'm teaching them how to hold up their little fingers and say get your guns up. I have been a nurse for 29yrs and have been in home health for the past 12yrs, I was recently asked to work in the office a few days a week and Ihave had a crash coarse in using the computer, I have been able to avoid it bbecause we have charts on our patient's and they are still paper.Iknow this is long but I haven't spoke to anyone for a long time. I saw some people on the photo's that made me home sick. If anyone sees Ty give hime a big hug for me. To the rest ,God Bless you and be with you.

Funny thing happened....Went to Frisco to see Jimmy Buffet a couple of weeks ago.  Staying at a hotel, tired and hot after being out there ALL day, drove to our hotel and trying to get all of my crap out of the car.  A car stops in the parking lot and a guy gets out and says "Is that Rhonda Tyler?"  I looked and low and behold there was TOM TEVIS!! How ironic that we would run into each other there?  So good to see him.  Hopefully, we will start working on another get together soon.  Have to recover from the last one first.  At this age, having that much fun in one weekend is dangerous. HA!  Hope everyone is doing great.  Hard to believe that it will soon be a year since I saw many of you.  Keep using the website and staying in touch.

We are all very saddened by the news of Debra's death.  I will pray for her family and friends.

The CHS reunion committee met tonight.  Diana, Lori, Lisa, Kelly, Jimmy, Angie, myself and Chris Beard were there.  We had a great time and will post some pictures soon. We took care of paying for five years on this website which was $350.00.  We hope that everyone will continue to use it and stay in touch.  If the Dallas group is having a meeting , they will let everyone know and we will do the same.  Hope you all are having a Happy New Year.  Take Care....

Hope the Dallas CHS group had a fun time on Saturday night.  Wish I could have been there but I was at the Tech game watching them whip up on Masachusetts.  Not much competition but we looked pretty good. A little birdy told me that Jamie W. was in town for the game.  Guess I am not on his CALL or email LISTS.

Jan, Tech plays Oklahoma State in Lubbock but plays OU in Norman. DARN!

Adam, sorry I don't have any extra tickets to the Texas game.  Bet you can scalp some on that day.

Someone write in and let us know how the CHS get together went.

Hi -- I attended Smylie Wilson in 74 &75.  I attened  Coronado in 76.  I had to drop out due to a divoce and start work full time.  I worked at Shakeys that used to be on 50th as an Assit. Manager. In 78  woke up after a car crash with partial amnesia. I had no memories of family, friends, co-workers, classmates, or teachers.  The experts felt the trauma from the unexepted loss of a young friend from Lubbock High caused the trauma that led to amnesia.  I was conatantly being approache by "strangers" from my past it caused headaches trying to remember.  My Doctor suggested a move to a new city to start over. I moved to Tulsa Oklahoma.  I ran into a gruop of Coronado classmates at a  party.  They remember me and I had no memory of them.  They told me a couple of stories about incidents at Smylie Willson that had them busting out in laughter.  One of the classmates adked me to promise him that if I every remembered the incident - I would try and look him up and tell him how I had done a trick on the playground at Smylie.   Hoping someone may read this and rmember the time I had a classmate running around the playground thinking that "Vincent Price" the fly was chasing him down.  Everyone had heard me tell that fly to attack him - and it did.  The classmate I ran into in Tulsa back in 1978 wanted to know the trick I used that I got that  fly to attack him and chase him around.  I just started remember this inciident 3 days ago and I haven't stopped laughing yet.  If any one was there and can remember the indicent - I would appreciate an email.
Sincerely,
David King

Pick a nice place for us DFWer's to have some fun next month.  Hopefully nothing outdoors, it has been way too hot lately.  Thanks for the nice lunch we had together in Lubbock.  It sure brought back old times.  Hey any of you that need a break, come up to DFW next month and meet with us.  Where ever that is?  I have been asked to help with the 35th Reunion to be in DFW.  If anyone has any ideas of where, what, and when let me know.  Anyone want to help on the Committee?  I hope we can do as well as those great 30th year gang.  They did a fabulous job.

Small world!!  Jeff Griffin & I are also putting together the DFW list so that we can arrange a get-together next month, so if you live in the area & we don't have your information, either call Jeff @ 214-502-7824  or myself @ 214-789-6232.  We don't want to accidently miss getting the details to anyone.  Let's keep in touch!

Well I finally made it back to sunny/smoggy Southern California.  I had a wonderful time at the reunion. The reunion committee did a great job.  I think the was the best one so far...it was a hoot!  (I think I'll have to explain that one to folks hereEveryone looks great and it was good to catch up with old friends. It really does not seem like that much time has passed.   Can't wait until the next one

So Rhonda, when are you going to Cabo?  We leave next Saturday, we'll be there from July 26 - July 31st.  I can't wait, my nephew & I are going to do the zip line on the beach!  I'm also looking forward to snorkeling.  There are 34 of us going so it's going to be a blast!  Thanks again for all the hard work y'all put into organizing the reunion!  I'm ready to get the "DFW/CHS Chapter" organized so that we can hopefully get together every other month and keep up with each other!!  Have fun on your trip!

Jill, we missed you!  And you missed a really fun weekend.  FYI, I did not think the Gremlin was a cool car, not even in 1978 or with the Levi interior.  What was my father thinking???  I do, however, remember a sassy silver Camaro on 10th Street.

I'll never be able to mention everyone I was fortune enough to have the opportunity to visit with, but I do want to say:  Cynthia, I look forward to seeing you again, at parents weekend at Ole Miss.  Brandon, see you there, too, if not sooner, at the lake.  Linda, share your case of wine with Leisa.  Jamie, keep the laughs coming.  Ty, Shane, Keith and Carl, you guys have a place in my heart forever.  Andy and Kenny, please stop the next time you pass my house.  Ron, I would love to run across you in Hawaii again.  Mike, thanks for sharing the junior high memories!  Jay, please tell Linda that I really can play tennis.  Lisa, I hope you get responses from your late night phone calls.  Heidi (you know who you are), we can do it!  Rhonda, have a great time in Cabo - you earned it!  Brian, Nancy, Richard, John, Carrie, Dianna, and all you other late-nighters, you're all great.

Best wishes to all

Last weekend was GREAT. I want to thank everyone involved in the planning and execution for a fantastic weekend. I do hope there will be a 35th, even if it’s just a little thing like a "Meet and Greet". It was a pure joy seeing everyone again. Jamie Woodman, I think you are funnier than you were in High School. I guess it’s all that wisdom you have accumulated over the years. Kent, I found the secret for my golf game last Saturday, I should have gone straight to the 19th hole when I got there instead of going to the driving range. The more beers I had, the better I got off the T-Box, just ask Biddle. Janet (Groves) McCright, please extend my deepest apologies to Monte and Nathan for slowing them down and getting rained out. For those who do not know, I watched Janet’s son Nathan rip a dive on #14, playing the red tees, and he almost over drove the green. I figure it was about a 460-yard drive. I think he’ll be the next Tiger. Ladies, I go along with the rest in saying that you all are getting more beautiful the older we get. Guys, we’re going down hill fast. I am just glade I wasn’t the only one who had to pull out reading glasses to look at nametags. Good luck to everyone and let’s at least keep in touch on the Guest Book. By the way, if we need to "subscribe" to keep this web site going, I’ll do it. I pay $20 a year to be a member of my Navy site and this site is worth it also.

I happen to know there was a squeaky cooler and some beer floaters involved in that trip to Levelland....but insurance for the bumper?  Looks like Andy FORCED Kenny to drink again and they got a boo-boo in the process....(other than that I am way too shy quiet blonde boy to post anything in a public forum such as this)

Debbie, it was nice talking. Bobby it was great to see you and I am happy to know you are doing so well. Collen the Grand Canyon will not be an easy trip, but well worth it. Well gang, I am sorry I couldn't make it this time. I am in Mexico and having a blast. It looks lkike I missed a good time. I am living in Dallas and in the mortgage business. I am divorced for four years, but no kids. I got out of the nightclub business and jumped into mortgage's. I also did a radio show for five years which was very fun and closed a lot of business off the show. I have traveed a lot for the last few years with a highlight og going to Scotland and playing St Andrews where I shot a 77. What a trip! Well, if anyone wants to catch up, my cell number is 972-754-4677. My email is tomtevis@yahoo.cm. I hope to hear from you. I also hope this finds you in great health and spirits.

Hey Everyone. Didn't know about this guest book thing, so I have said my hello's and thank you's in the Classmates page on this website. Had a great time talking with all of you this weekend.
I laughed a lot with Jamie and Andy, but i miss that quiet little blonde I kissed at the skating rink in 6th grade. . . Dianne, you remember those days, right? By the way, Dianne, tell your brother Charles hello from me. Andy, if things don't work out, I'll see you at the Grand Canyon.
Keith, you're gonna be great. Julia, you are great. John, much love and good wishes for you.
Oh yeah, Deann McEachern---you were so sweet. Hope all is good.
Cyndi---so happy to know things are good.
Jean Barton---you rock! I bet you have some morning show fodder after this weekend.
Talk to you all soon. Take Care.
Rhonda, Dale----thanks for all the parties and planning.

white hair is a sign of ....WHITE HAIR....

I could have white hair as well but I never play Santa in the city xmas play, so need for it....keep up with Ralph and me?  oh no....only Jennifer is better at going and going than we are...lol

it only cost me about $500 to supply the beer for Bunch and the Criswells all weekend, but it was worth it to get my one chance in life to tell the Drum Figgy Pudding solo story...I can now retire from my story telling career and go back to my shy, quiet self, like always....

and too you 5 ladies that were awarded the Top5 trophies - congratulations....

a beer and a note on the porch is NOT winning....but alas, I learned last night I like Jennifer, so I will just LET her feel the victory and do the dance, and I will pretend she won and take it like a man...
Investing that $200 so Driver would talk to me last night so I could pretend my flirting was working was some of the best money I have ever spent...
As I already knew - them Criswells are 2 of the funnerest people as a pair on earth - glad she made him show up...

Ya'll are cracking me up!!!  I wish I could have gone to this reunion, but won't be able to.  PLEASE have a 35 yr. reuion and I will start making plans right now to attend.  Plans include being able to wear a mini-skirt (just like we did at Smiley Wilson Jr. High) so, to be able to do that I must loose 30 lbs (menopause is kicking my A_ _!!!) and have my boobs lifted (I hope I don't have to explain this!) .

Looks like I am also going to have to hire a detective to find all the long, lost people that I hung around with.  So far only a few have put info into the website (Shawna Pendley, William Holcolmb, Elaina Baxter, Cindy Stephenson - just to name a few)....where the heck is Lesha Morrison, Sandy Krahn, Annette White, Darren Welch, Morris Payne, Randy Harvey, Chris Carson and all the other nice, quite people I use to know?????

I am so glad we never did anything like the things that are being talked about in the Guest Book!

LeAnne, don't worry too much about who will or won't remember you.  Those of us who were quiet and unnoticed in high school can sit back this weekend and enjoy ourselves without being constantly told how much we've changed/aged/gained weight etc. because no one remembers what we looked like!  I think that's half the fun (even though I haven't changed/aged/gained weight or etc.)

my my where to begin....1st is the obvious one...SPRINTS Bobby?  SPRINTS?  can you running ever really be called SPRINTS?  I had forgotten that day...and here you have held that grudge all these years....no wonder you have been so distant and cold each time I brought your Christmas present over....would any human alive have risked trying to steal a hotdog from you back in the day?
Education time for most of you - NOTHING beats a lapdance from a homeless dancer - they are open to way more than usual when they need that next meal to be paid for....
sank Kenny's dad's boat - now I confess, I done it....I was concentrating on the program for the next church function instead of my driving....mission trip???  ok, just like when I had to lie for you to Rhonda each week, I'll cover for you again this time as well...
now time for practice - WOW Debbie you look incredible tonight....your eyes are so captivating....how do you get your hair to look so good all messed up like that? enough practice.....I'm ready....

Don't let Kenny fool you.  He certainly didn't BEG us not to drink....He put the vodka in my baby bottle on Kid's Day AND his mom cooked us lunch.  We were both already toasted and I don't think she knew it.... or maybe she did??  Now we wonder why our kids do the things they do... Don't think they could top the things we pulled off.  If they did they would be in JAIL!!

Chuck Giles hasn't even responded so you won't get a rise out of him because I doubt he is checking this site.  Maybe someone knows how to get a hold of him??

Skinny dipping is OUT but sucking in our guts is a good idea Tracy.  Jimmy knows a good thing to use for that.  He learned all about it at the reunion committee meetings.  Ask Jimmy??

In speaking with Chuck at the 20 year reunion he said he was the director of Psychology? Or Psychiatry? At the prison and he said he knew Maurice. However, maybe he was in prison for something and made up the whole “worked there” story, or maybe he made everything up for the reunion, or maybe he was not actually Chuck, or maybe he was an escaped prisoner who stopped by the reunion and used Chucks name to get it, OR Maybe it was Maurice dressed up like Chuck…..WOW!!!! Chuck….are you out there???? How do we know if it is really you??? Do you have an older brother named Sam???

How would Chuck know Maurice Dancy after CHS?  Isn't Maurice still in prison for that awful murder?  Chuck have you been in prison?  I cannot imagine that at all.

Skinny Dipping at our age would not be skinny at all!!  Suck it in everybody.

You all can play poker at my house but there are rules:  All clothes stay on, the stories continue, and we all have fun seeing each other again.  We will be running a continuous flow of frozen margaritas and frozen peach belinis on Friday evening and Saturday.  Probably a girl drink but oh well....it's free and I know how all you guys like FREE!!  Ole Radar ears still ask about all of you everytime I see him.  I am sure he has some FOND memories of each of you! (or not)  Don't worry about the police on Saturday or Sunday - Lori will be here and she has connections.  Keith Hall emailed yesterday and he is on his way.  This whole thing is going to be WAY toooo much fun!!

Alright, time for Brent Roye to tell about us all having to save his drunken self from drowning after the Cowboys lost their play-off game.

It took all of us to save him from that drowning....probably shouldn't tell you that the attempted drowning (puposely or accidental) was in Mom's kitchen sink.

And Bunch, my Dad says not to say anything about all the Strawberry Hill and Boone's Farm that he poured out from the trunks of our/your car

One more thing, for those who were in the car.  Remember when we were driving by the baseball practice field and Coach Dudley was out working on the field.  Bunch and I had just made the baseball team and Woodman screams "Hey radar ears." Well, everyone in the car ducks...of course I am driving and all he looks up and sees is my fat arse...Been needing to thank all you guys for those extra make-ups and sprints...

I know you were really just trying to help me lose weight...instead you could have stolen a burrito or hot dog from me....but that was way uncalled for....still holding a grudge...lol

Time to leave work early and go take my weekly bath before I drive the clan to the Hub tonight fer the big shindig...If'n any you need a ride over, be outside as I drive by and I'll pull over and let ya hop in the back of the truck....gots to find that pair of socks I used to own to wear Saturday night so Debbie don't catch onto my hillbilly hankerins...

We are planning to keep this website up for the next 5-10 years until the next reunion.  We are going to sell CD's of 1978 Mustang Memories for $10 to help pay the cost of the website.  We will have these available at the reunion.

Now back to the other stuff... Boy Kenny is in big trouble with me!  HA HA  As a matter of fact, he just called and said he was going to be able to make it for Saturday night so he can be here to defend himself.  Don't want you all to "tarnish" his reputation!!  He was ALWAYS an angel and told me EXACTLY what he was doing.  (well maybe NOT everything)  You all are making me laugh on this website.  I love it and can't wait to check it to see who has responded.

FINALLY an honest man comes to testify on the drinking habits of the Bunch man...if I tell it I am tattlin, but if some random, unpaid witness says it, I must be innocent (well, maybe not exactly 'innocent')
Now, to defend West Texas....#1  I don't live in West Texas - I live in FootballTown, USA, north of Dallas...so close enough to even take her out to dinner if all my bribes work out properly....and #2 West Texas ain't so bad...
hey Drum - did you see Rhonda invited us over for the night for a skinny dippin poker party?  old married people are not allowed that type fun...dirty old men that are single can take Rhonda's "up for anything" type offers to entirely new heights.....
Shari Boone - I am coming to see you in October - our team goes to Whitehouse to play you guys and the Orange wave is coming....Rhonda - does this site stay up after the reunion or is it only up long enough to get the reunion completed (almost some dirty old man chatter there)

Man this "blog" is getting "Lively".

I would like clarify one thing for a man who is getting blame for actions he could not control.  Rhonda, Jammie never put "peer pressure" on Kenny.  He did it all on his own.  Heck, Kenny would find me and David B. at Maxie, Furr's, or the Sonic minutes after dropping you off.  Now what he did after 2AM, I do not know.

The Telephone Booth, shear genius, but in the state most of us were in that night of the Out House. We will have to put that into a different "Classification".  Half us would have died swimming.  It's like Track and Field" and an "Swimming" event.  But it does rate tops in the swimming catagory and excellent in execution.

Now for the "extra" money for the "frat."  Rioudso?  When did that go down? Well I'm not complaining, I put 25 in got 50 out, with a steak dinner and a beer bust.  That's a hell of alot better my brocker can give me these days.

Prison man's house (Tracy had a quick bicycle get-away after the ring and runs, I think), the doll house, the cat lady. Uncle Abner (I think that's what we called him - ask Mary Ann for details), Toto, the Gremlin - with interior by Levi's!,  Rhonda knocking that girl out at Uncle Nasty's, Lisa and Robert dancing in assorted contests there, Jill and Leisa and Stephanie and Mary Ann and Rhonda spraypainting MHS red and gold, ...  could talk about it all night, and may do so, as we did 10 years ago.  Rhonda, Andy, Brian, Nancy ... you in?

Kelly,

I remember the prison man's house.  I also remember that on Halloween we would dare Tammy G., Jennifer W., Mary Ann, and maybe Rhonda was there, on who would ring the bell.  Oh then there was that time we got Ann Moody to do it.  What happened to her?  Have you seen the prison man's house lately?  I think some woman tried to decorate, but you cannot decorate something that weird.

I do not know about the Doll House though, where is that? and what is the story?

Bobby I am so sorry about that cemetery night long, long, ago.  Good thing the dump was around the corner, huh?

Debbie,

As far as the race to lunch, no one could beat Joey, Woody and me on our motorcycles and Brent in his baby blue cruiser...except the cop that kept waiting for us each week on Utica.  I still remember having to tell Joey's Dad about the tickets and after about the 3rd one...him beating the crap out of us  and yelling at us all the way to the lawyers office.

Oh my goodness.  I laughed so hard remembering the "punch bowl/ outhouse" memory. I will never forget getting to school that morning and seeing the graffiti- " Hey Mrs Foster- How about a nice Hawaiian Punch ( BOWL). " I am giggling right now at my desk just thinking about it.  I think at the time I kind of wet my pants I was laughing so hard.

That was true genius in constructing the outhouse in the smoker's courtyard.  Brilliant.  Simply Brilliant.  I think the smokers had to go somewhere else until the crime scene had been dismantled.

Well I went through and read everyone's blog, got to Jamie's and lost it.  It great to see you still are the same, Jamie, after all of these years.

I am still on my honeymoon since March 21, 2006 and loving every minute of it.  I finally found someone who loves my children and I like my father loves my mother.  Only thing, he's a peon.

We have 4 children.  Jared turned 25 today and lives in Bedford with his fiance' and my 9 month old granddaughter.  Lexi is 18 and lives in Lubbock with with her fiance' and my 24 month old grandson.  Jamie is a 14 year old  long blonde haired, green eyed, beauty.  Steven is my 13 year old pitcher, catcher and shortstop who will one day be as great as Derek Jeter.

I just recently left my job as Lead Advisor for the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech after 10 years and moved to Abilene, TX.  I can't believe I waited until I was 48 to finally move.

I also started back to school in 2004 after going through a life changing divorce.  Working full time, going to school part time and raising 3 kids by yourself will tell you real soon just what you are made of.

We have only  been gone for about two weeks now, so I will try to come back for the reunion.  I have really looked forward to seeing everyone.  We have all been so blessed to have grown up in our time.

Hope to see all of you soon.

Rhonda, you have done a great job

I'll be in town all day Friday if any of you guys wanna lie to your wives and tell em you have an afternoon "bidness meeting" and have a long lunch over 1, maybe 2 beers...

I have really enjoyed reading everyone's comments. I wish I had more notice for the reunion. I could be having bunches of fun

Carl Clawson, I cracked up at your email....NO FAT DAWGS, NO CHAR-KING.... You forgot ROXY'S , UNCLE NASTY'S, COLD WATER..dont forget SPANKIES (STILL THERE).. i hear ya, Lubbock has changed, but then agin has stayed the same IN SO MANY WAYS... Funny you stay @ the Holiday, It is a running joke. Wendy Bonner, & I stayed there last spring, got a free night due to ROACHES.
Put it in a matchbook, and took ti the desk.

I live in Arlington going on 20yrs. I have a 20yr old son, who will be a Sophmore in college. Texas Tech.. wow , can never really get Lubbok out of my system. I take pride showing him all the hot spots in town, or use to be HOT SPOTS...

I really enjoyed seeing everyone at the 20th. I will do everything I can to make the 30th, but it is not looking to bright.

Hey,,,,,,,, WHERE IS CHUCK GREEN???? He is probalby somewhere doing something incredably cool, we all just dream of.

I have a very long list of people I do not see on this...Even thought I may not attend the reunion, I would love to hear from so many of you.

Mrs. fosters  Punchbowl....she was the Home ec. teature who wanted the senior class gift to be a punch bowl.....

Mrs. Hildabrand was the teachet I beleive who found out....

Some stayed at my House the night of the "event" as my mom was saying ," you guys are going to get caught"  she still tells the story about the police was chasing someone and all she was hearing from us ,"did you get away from the cops"

The hero was gary law( who did not want to be involved, but enough peer pressure he let us use his pick up to get the outhouse''''

We did get permission from the farmer to dig up the outhouse....

These are the stories I heard since  I was not involved,

Hey I quickly looked through the messages and Jamie your right it was Tevis, he melted.  Hey what teacher was our class advisor because when Jimmy and Steve and Stuart and Carl were stategically placing empty adult beverage cans around they also wrote with shoe polish is was somebodies punch bowl.

Yea I am like bobby " what out house " ?  It was the coronado clan.  I was probably the only one that had permission form my mom because she heard us on the phone setting up a time to get it.  But, like Carl if we would have it left it just the out house we would not have gotten into trouble but that wasn't us we were young.  Jamie you looked old at the ten year reunion.  All I know is at senior day we were some sad looking students in coostumes.  But the parties were great through our senior year.  Where are the Markussen's they surely know how to email.

It's been fun reading the messages and remembering.  I hope to come to the reunion this year - this is the first year I have received any info about a reunion.  I don't think I have seen anyone from our class since about 1985 or so.

Hello Everyone,
Looking forward to seeing you all there. Thanks to all who put this webpage and the reunion together. It sounds like only guys are invited to the poker game. . . too bad.
I guess I'll just see who can still dance.

Hey Bobby,

Poker sounds good to me and I can visit my folks since they live next door. I'll bring some money to loose since I suck at poker. Higgins is a damn good poker player. I'll let him play for me. I'll bring some Pedro's Tamales.

Not the young ones these days.  If they tried half of the stuff we did, they are in jail.  These days there is no " pore it out" at Maxie Park.  There is no "go to the cotton fields and don't let me catch you again."  Man, we were either lucky, spoiled, or both.  Of course it's those experiences have made me the "fine" father I am today.  My kids can't get away with anything.  I know signs.

What out house, what patio, what coronado clan parties...I mean when did all that happen.  Must be those young guys now doing that.  I'm all about poker...only if Joey brings the tobacco and Brent brings the beer.

Oh man. the "Out House".  Great plan, bad result.  I wraped my toe around a sprinkler head helping carry it the the wall of the school.  I tell ya, if I would have been in the patio it would have just been the Out House and it would have stayed all day I bet.  Boy, was my mom mad about that one.  That toe still bothers me to this day, makes me slice my golf dives, but we all can't be as good as Tiger and play on one leg.

Wow look at the names....Terry Hucks, Greenwell, Drum, Steve Taylor....my my you all got so damn old....just as a reminder....who all got kicked out of school for puttin an outhouse in the patio by the library the night before the Senior Day swim party?  HA!! most of you never even heard about it, and we.....I mean....whoever did it....would have gotten away with it too if not for mouthy Tim Tevis getting grilled by sweet old lady Hildebrand....

Hey Drum....how about an all-night poker game on Friday night at your mansion?  I can bring some sodas and chips....

It's June 15th, and I'm out here on business and staying in the downtown Holiday Inn.  Wow, this town has changed so much.  The Fox Theater is gone, Char King is gone, Fat Dawgs is gone, and the Town Draw is now called Cross Roads.  I can almost see TTU from here, the Tech Getto is all gone.  But I guess some constants still remain, Gardskies Loft still makes a good burger, lunch today, and the "Strip" is still alive.  I knew I was home agian, driving up from Lamesa, when I saw two dirt devils, Lubbock from twenty miles away, and a fanstatic sunset. Sometimes really I miss West Texas.

Damn you're getting old. :)

Life certainly takes you down diffrent paths but I've been blessed more than I deserve. Through heartache and undescriable happiness I've arrived at this point in my life were family and friendships are even more signifigant than ever. I've had schools mates pass on with so much life ahead of them.  I've lost contact with those that I thought would be friends for life and became good friends with those from school I never really new that well. Our 10 year reconnected me with  my good friend Steve Taylor.  I've known Steve since the 1st grade at Stewart E/S and we've  been in constant contact ever since. These reunions are important as they are apart of who we are and who we have become to some degree. God brings people into our lives and it's up to us who we allow to leave. I hope we all can reconnect with someone we were close with but have lost contact. I'm sorry to be so long winded but these are momories that I cherish. I want to sincerely thank all of those that cared enough to make this happen.

By the way, I have a 27yr old son that graduated from Coronado and went into the Marines. He now lives in Santa Barbara with his wife Heather (No Kids). I divorced when Dustin was 2 and waited a while before trying again and finally met my beautiful wife Mindy. which is a RN We've been married 17yrs. and we have three awesome boys. Austin (14), Braden (11) and Cason( 9) . We recently moved to San Angelo as the GM for 2 FM radio stations. Life is good and again I've beed blessed. Now I won't have anything to talk about so I can just dance and pary all night. :)

Thank you for being apart of my life.

Terry
